5 In the **administration** section, general administrative tasks can be carried out. Only people having the role of **user administrator, learning resource administrator, group administrator** or **system administrator** can see this area as a central tab.

13 **Users who log in with an alternative login, e.g. via shibboleth authentication or LDAP, must have an OPAL password set by a user administrator to open these functional areas.** The [[change password>>url:https://www.bps-system.de/help/display/LMS/Passwort+aendern||shape="rect"]] page describes how a user administrator can set this.
