41 Je Institution bzw. Mandant kann die Server-Infrastruktur flexibel an die Einsatzszenarien angepasst werden. Sie können sowohl das BigBlueButton, welches BPS Ihnen bereitstellt, als auch eine BigBlueButton-Instanz auf den Servern Ihrer Einrichtung nutzen. Zudem besteht auch die Möglichkeit, mehrere BBB-Server sowie das Tool Scalelite anzubinden. Mit Hilfe von Scaltelite wird eine Verteilung auf die verfügbaren BBB-Server erreicht. Damit sind insbesondere Online-Meetings in OPAL mit einer hohen Teilnehmer*innenzahl möglich. Scalelite verteilt die Anfragen zum Öffnen eines Meeting-Raums automatisch auf den Server mit der höchsten Kapazität. Dabei kann der Cluster (Scalelite und die BBB-Server) sehr flexibel je nach Nutzung konfiguiert werden.
