4 If you see the button **Register** in the login area, a self-registration is activated for this platform. Thus, you can create a user account on your own.

6 Upon self-registration, you will receive the user role //External user//. This role has limited permissions in the learning platform. However, it can be changed by an authorised person, for example a user administrator. 73 The link opens a form in which you have to enter all further data required for this platform. Enter a username, password, as well as other system-dependent data.

78 By submitting the form, the terms of use of your selected institution will be displayed. **Select the checkbox **(3) at the end of the document to confirm them by clicking **Agree**. This will create your user account in the learning platform.
