Change room settings

For the BigBlueButton conference system, advanced configuration settings are available in the course view.

To access them, open the settings dialogue by clicking on the room settings icon . You can only see this dialogue if you have the relevant rights for the course.

The following options are available in the dialogue:

• Participants are allowed to moderate the room: All users who enter the room are granted moderation rights in the conference room upon entering.
• Approval by the moderator is needed before the room can be entered: All users who want to enter the room and do not have moderation rights are first directed to a waiting room when entering. At the same time, moderators who are already in the room receive a notification about their request to join. Requests can be confirmed or rejected individually for single users or collectively for all users.

Confirm your settings with Save. Note that an already opened room will automatically be closed if the settings are changed.
