To enable a more detailed assessment for these interactions, you can set up alternative solutions and other assessment settings for the gaps in the text. If a user does not process a gap, or if the gap is left blank, no points will be awarded.

32 The configuration of alternative solutions as well as other assessment settings can generally be done in the **Question & Answer** tab of the respective question type. In the **Assessment** tab, these pre-configured gaps will then be displayed in a table together with their correct and alternative solutions. For each of these table entries, a point value can be set here.
