Test Path Control - Examples

By activating the test option Linear with logical test structure, test navigation takes place in a predefined order. This means that all questions contained in a test are only displayed to the learner if the defined visibility condition is fulfilled. Visibility can be customised depending on the answers and results given so far. You can thus control the test path in a variety of ways.

Self-chosen study path

Participants have the opportunity to choose their own study path based on their professional goals and interests. The test adapts dynamically to this selection. This flexibility enables individualised and goal-oriented practice and test scenarios to meet the specific needs.

In the example, the learner chooses one of the three subject areas, project planning, risk management or team management, and is then asked specialised questions on the chosen topic.

Scientific study path

All test and exam scenarios are designed in such a way that they take the learner's level of knowledge and learning progress into account. Adaptive questioning enables an individualised knowledge assessment according to the learner's performance level and, therefore, better differentiation.

In the example, the learner answers an initial question on project objectives. Based on the quality of the answers given, they receive further questions. Each answer is included in the competence assessment, and follow-up tasks are displayed for the specific level of competence.

Diagnostic study path

A diagnostic test identifies individual sources of error and weaknesses and provides targeted exercises. Working on necessary exercises individually increases the learner's effectiveness and thus promotes sustainable learning through practice.
